Hello,

I have two questions about SOGo addressbook, both are relating to its web
GUI.

1) is there any way how could I import my contacts from other sources?
(I have contacts in other webmail system, I can export them from it to
LDIF file and I would like to import them into my Personal Address
Book in SOGo)

2) is there any way how could I insert contact from global LDAP address
book into my private address book?
(I have contacts of my partners in Shared Address book (LDAP),
I wish to create my private group of contacts for simple addressing
in my Personal Address Book, so I would like to copy some of contacts
from Shared Addressbook info my Personal Address Book)
I can insert e-mail address to Personal Address Book from 'Mail'
web subsystem, but how to do it from 'Address Book' subsystem?

I think they are needful functions and I didn't find them in current SOGo
(1.0.2).

Thank you very much for help,

Milos

That's not supported right now from the Web interface.

There's no way of doing this right now again from the Web interface
(ie., copy the contact from the global address book to one of your
personal address book). You could file a feature request at
http://www.scalableogo.org/bugs for this.

Thanks,

Actually...

For your LDIF contacts, you could use the SOGo Connector with
Thunderbird, create a remote addressbook and import the LDIF within it.

Same thing for your LDAP addressbook, this operation is supported from
the SOGo Connector/Thunderbird.

yes, I know.
But we have 10000+ active users on our current webmail system and most of
them work with web GUI only.
I would like to migrate our webmail to SOGo (better GUI, calendar, ...)
and contacts Import/Export in web GUI is important feature for them.
As well as contacts inserting from global LDAP address book into
their private address books (for creation of private lists of addresses).

thanks,

Milos
